The attack on the server of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi was done by Chinese, said senior officials from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday.

After a cyber attack on the server of AIIMS Delhi, the process for approximately 3,000 new registrations and follow-up registrations has begun in New RAK (Rajkumari Amrit Kaur) OPD at AIIMS Delhi, according to sources on Tuesday.
Medical Superintendent Safdarjung Hospital Dr BL Sherwal said, "There was a cyberattack. Our server was also down in November for a single day, but data was secured. It was handled by IT, National informatics Centre (NIC) which revived the systems."
AIIMS Delhi services are to start mid of next week only, meanwhile, approx 3,000 computers have been scanned and antivirus has also been uploaded for future safety.
The AIIMS Delhi reported a failure in its servers on November 23, and the servers remain out of order ever since then. Two of the analysts deployed to look after the servers' securities have also been suspended for the alleged breach of cyber security.
