The All India Congress Committee (AICC) approved the proposal to form various committees for effective party organisation ahead of the AICC meeting scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on April 8 and 9, a press release said.
The Congress' central leadership has called meetings of the party's district presidents. The meetings will be held at Indira Bhawan in Delhi on 27-28 March and 3 April, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said.
Congress leaders including Bhupesh Baghel, Kumari Seljha, Sachin Pilot, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken, and Randeep Surjewala among others also participated in the meeting.
