The statement added that the ex-servicemen were informed about the Agnipath Scheme, wherein Regimental Centre Commandants and Commanding Officers highlighted the positive aspects of the scheme and the avenues for Agniveer's post-four-year engagement with the Indian Armed Forces.
As the Lok Sabha poll results are out, Janta Dal United (JDU) spokeperson KC Tyagi on Thursday said that the party wants the 'Agnipath' scheme to the reviewed carefully.
