Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday said that Tripura is progressing with renewed confidence in connectivity, digital governance, healthcare, tourism, and investment.
"Despite being a small state, Tripura is moving in the right direction in every parameter. Tripura has won 347 awards at the all-India level. However, the opposition is not able to see the real development of the state," said CM Saha.
The programme was inaugurated by Tripura Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma in the presence of officials, industry experts and stakeholders from the bamboo sector.
The Dr BR Ambedkar Merit Award Programme was inaugurated at the Sukanta Academy Auditorium in Agartala by Minister of the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Sudhangshu Das.
Chief Minister Manik Saha said that the present state government is working with utmost importance for the development of health infrastructure in the state and to provide quality health care to the people, a press release said.
During his visit, he will attend the convocation ceremony of Tripura University, a premier central university, and is also slated to chair several other official programs.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of over 1,500 veterans and Veer Naris from all eight districts of Tripura, reaffirming the Indian Army's steadfast commitment towards the welfare and well-being of its veteran community.
The program centred on the State Innovation Mission and the inauguration of T-Nest (Tripura: Nurturing Entrepreneurship & Startup). It is a joint initiative of Atal Innovation Mission-NITI Aayog, Good Governance and Information Technology Department, and the Government of Tripura.
