External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday hailed the passage of three criminal bills from the Parliament and called it "milestones in decolonization" and the emergence of 'Bharat'.
"At the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of France, will be visiting India as the Chief Guest for the 75th Republic Day celebrations," the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed in a release on Friday.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has met with Hussein Al-Sheikh, Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, in Abu Dhabi to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza due to the escalating conflict.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of reinforcing military and security cooperation, as well as further exchanging expertise between the two countries.
