Amid the ongoing Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh held discussions with delegations from leading aerospace companies such as GE Aerospace, Safran, Leonardo S.p.A., Dassault Aviation, and BAE Systems.
Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh held bilateral meetings on the sidelines of Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru with several international defence officials on Tuesday, according to a release on Wednesday.
The bilateral meeting in Bengaluru was held with Suren Papikyan, Minister of Defence of Armenia, Monica Chang' Anamuno, Minister of Defence of Malawi, and Lieutenant General Sahivelo Lala Monja Delphin, Minister of Armed Forces of Madagascar.
According to a release, "The minister took a sortie on the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)-manufactured HJT-36 'Yashas', an indigenous jet aircraft that highlights India's advancements in aerospace and defense manufacturing."
