Safdarjung Hospital has achieved a new milestone in its robotic surgery program with the successful conduct of a complex robotic surgery on a 36-year-old woman who was diagnosed with a giant adrenal tumour.
The doctors at the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences successfully performed minimally invasive surgery to remove a tumor from the adrenal gland of an 11-month-old child using the Posterior Retroperitoneoscopic Method.
