The daily Ganga Aarti at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj was conducted on Friday evening with the chanting of hymns and the lighting of oil lamps ahead of the Maha Kumbh, which is scheduled to commence on Monday.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Prayagraj to review the arrangements for Mahakumbh, flagged off special shuttle buses of the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation and electric buses named 'Atal Seva' on the second day of his tour.

While speaking at the event, Adityanath said that those who have a "narrow" view of Sanatan Dharma and claim that there is discrimination on the basis of caste should witness the Maha Kumbh Mela where people from all walks of life bathe in the holy Sangam.
