NDA candidate from Maharashtra's assembly constituency in Milind Deora on Friday invited sitting Worli MLA and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray to have an open debate with him on the 'future of Mumbai's Worli and Maharashtra.'
The Worli constituency will see a high-profile contest between Mahayuti candidate Milind Deora and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has also announced its candidate, Sandeep Deshpande from the seat.
"I think it would be better for the Prime Minister to answer why the BJP looted Maharashtra instead of entangling us in the pages of history. Why did the BJP not employ the youth here and take it to Gujarat? They should answer this," said Aaditya Thackeray.
Taking to his social media handle on X, Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora said, "I agree with Shiv Sena's decision to field me as a Mahayuti candidate from Worli, Mumbai. I will try my best to understand the aspirations of every Worlikar and convey their voice to @mieknathshindeJi."
" As an alliance decision to select a candidate, is always the prerogative of the leadership. Our party believes in nation first, party next and individual last," Shaina NC said.
