A three-member judicial enquiry committee pertaining to the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed has been constituted which will give a detailed report to the Uttar Pradesh government in two months, said an official notification issued by the home department on Sunday.

"A murder happened and section 144 was imposed, the government there (Uttar Pradesh) did it. But if this incident took place despite the presence of (UP) police, then it is a serious matter. This raises a big question on law and order," Raut said while speaking to the media.
