Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday reiterated his party's demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the businesses of the Adani Group in the wake of the report by US short-seller firm Hindenburg Research.
Gautam Adani-led Adani Group has hired US-based law firm Wachtell to fight against allegations recently leveled against the conglomerate by short-seller Hindenburg Research.
The outburst came during a heated exchange of words between Union Minister Piyush Goyal and the leader of the opposition Mallikarjun Kharge who have been locking horns after Congress alleged Prime Minister Modi has "links" with industrialist Gautam Adani, showed images accessed by ANI.
