Jawaharlal Nehru University students marched towards Vasant Kunj Police station late on Tuesday night amid claims of stone pelting by ABVP outfit during the screening of a banned BBC documentary on Prime Minister Modi.
According to the FIR Copy, a case was registered against writer Farhat Khan, owner of Amar Law Publication, Hitesh Khetrapal, Law College principal Inam Ur Rehman and College Professor Mirza Mojiz under sections 153 A, 153B, 295A, 500, 504, 505, 505 (2) and 34 of the IPC.
The ABVP alleged that the teachers had been promoting religious fanaticism, making wrong comments on great personalities, army and promoting 'love Jihad' on the college campus.
The brawl took place between two groups of nearly 10 students each, which included members of the BJP's students' wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Bhagat Singh Chhatra Ekta group near a tea shop between 3.30pm and 4 pm.
