Delhi Assembly Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Atishi has strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the delay in implementing the women's financial assistance scheme in the national capital.
Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party president Virendraa Sachdeva congratulated Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on announcing the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, and also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for allegedly "betraying Punjab's sisters."
Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak on Saturday questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party over the sudden appearance of the committee on Mahila Samridhi Yojana, accusing them of a delaying tactic and implying that the government is not genuinely committed to implementing the scheme.
