Questioning the timing of the commitment made by the Delhi Chief Minister to repair the roads in the national capital, Chandni Chowk BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal on Monday said that the party is making all these promises just ahead of the Assembly elections.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, along with other MLAs and members of the Aam aadmi party, including former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai inspected the condition of roads in the national capital.
Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Sunday visited the spot where an incident of firing occurred in a car showroom in the Naraina area of Delhi on Friday, September 27. Bharadwaj was accompanied by AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak.
"All he (Kejriwal) has developed is himself, his family and the AAP because the corruption has been at its peak...Delhi people have no expectations from him. Congress will form an independent and strong government in Haryana," he added.
Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly and Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa hit out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) reagrding the complications being faced by candidates in filing nominations for the Panchayat election scheduled to take place on October 15.
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5. Votes will be counted on October 8 along with that in Jammu and Kashmir
Meanwhile, on September 17, Kejriwal tendered his resignation to Delhi LG VK Saxena, and Atishi staked claimed to form the new government days after the AAP chief was released on bail from Tihar jail in the excise policy case.
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday saying that the MCD elections that were carried out on Friday are illegal, unconstitutional, and undemocratic.
"Is Mohan Bhagwat satisfied with Modi ji's decision to induct the most corrupt leaders to join BJP by scaring them through ED and CBI?" Kejriwal asked.
