Maliwal has alleged that Kejriwal's Personal Secretary Bibhav Kumar "slapped" her "atleast seven to eight times" while she "continued screaming" and "brutally dragged" her while "kicking" her in her "chest, stomach and pelvis area."
An FIR was registered on Thursday in connection with the assault on Maliwal after she filed a complaint with the Delhi Police against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide, Bibhav Kumar for being assaulted at the Chief Minister's House. Kumar has been named in the FIR.
Amid heated discussions surrounding the alleged assault on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal by Delhi CM's close aide, BJP leaders in the national capital have come in support of Maliwal and demanded action in the incident.
The Delhi police said on Thursday that an FIR has been registered on the complaint of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Swati Maliwal, in which the latter has alleged she was "slapped, hit on stomach and kicked" by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's personal secretary, Bibhav Kumar.
