JPMorgan Chase, the country's largest bank, reported a USD 12.6 billion net profit for the first quarter of 2023, up 52 per cent from a year earlier. Earnings per share jumped 56 per cent to USD 4.10.
With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) giving tickets to 52 new faces in its first list of candidates for the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections, the party's national general secretary CT Ravi on Wednesday said the BJP stand apart from other parties as it keeps on experimenting.
BJP on Tuesday released the first list of candidates for 189 seats out of 224 seats for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections with 52 new candidates getting tickets.
While addressing the press conference BJP's National General Secretary Arun Singh said, "Today we have released the list of 189 candidates. 52 out of 189 are fresh candidates".
Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday declared 189 candidates for Karnataka assembly polls as it sought to strike a balance in terms of representation of various castes and communities while putting up "strong candidates" against senior Congress leaders.
Digital advertising fared worse, with a 70% drop in advertisers on Day-1. On the opening day, the number of TV advertisers was 40% lower than last year, with only 31 live match advertisers against 52 last year.
While there were 52 advertisers on board for IPL's opening fixture on TV last year, this year that number for the opening fixture was 31 for live matches only (all channels). The advertisers data has been verified through BARC numbers. The data is for all TV feeds where IPL is being telecast
"521 people have tested positive for Covid-19 infection in Delhi in the last 24 hrs. The national capital currently has 1,710 active cases of Covid-19," officials said.
