While co-chairing the 3rd India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) Summit in Papua New Guinea on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that India believes in multilateralism and supports a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific.
Amid high security, Srinagar is all set to host the three-day 'Third G20 Tourism Working Group Meeting' from Monday with the highest participation registered compared to the previous two such meetings organised at Gujarat's Rann of Kutch and West Bengal's Siliguri.
Ahead of the third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting here, the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) on Sunday said that the meet will send a strong message across the world that Kashmir is a peaceful place.
The three-day meeting that commenced today with a side event on beach clean-up in Mumbai's Juhu beach was followed by beach clean-up activities at five different beaches in Maharashtra.
"The 3rd meeting of the Tourism working group in Srinagar will be an opportunity for G20 delegates to see 'paradise on Earth'," Harsh Vardhan Shringla said in a tweet.
According to sources, Madhya Pradesh won the top place in the 'Best State' category, followed by Odisha which secured the 2nd position while Andhra Pradesh and Bihar were announced as joint winners for the 3rd position, sources said.
