Top leaders of the opposition bloc INDIA began hectic parleys in an informal meeting here on Thursday evening to chart out a concrete roadmap to take on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Nitish Kumar reiterated that he has no prime ministerial ambitions but will lead the opposition's efforts to fight against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Party sources said the expansion of the organisation, preparations of the party for high stakes battle and booth-level poll strategy, were among the issues, which were likely to be discussed in the meeting.

After declaring that Rahul Gandhi will contest from Amethi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Congres chief Ajay Rai praised former Congress President and said that “The people of Amethi consider him as their family because he fulfilled the promises.”

Congress leader Pawan Khera on Friday reacted over the row contesting on all seven constituencies in Delhi during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and said that discussions keep happening for the betterment of the party, a decision is taken together.
