At least 10 passengers were injured when a shuttle bus collided with a pole near the arrival-exit road of the Bengaluru airport on Sunday morning, said airport officials.
While addressing a press conference, Hill said the 25 people with the majority of them being seniors were travelling in the bus that collided with a semi-trailer truck. The bus was heading from the western Manitoba city of Dauphin, CBC News reported.
"An unknown vehicle hit an auto going which was going towards Tuni from Addu road. After getting hit by the unknown vehicle, Auto immediately ran into a bike which was coming from the opposite side," the police official said.
The province reported both financial and human losses from the natural calamity. Many homes were demolished, and the flash flood devastated thousands of acres of agricultural land.
The statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office said, "I want to appreciate the investigation team for nabbing the suspect in the Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express incident in which three people were killed and around 10 injured after setting fire to the passengers."
At least four people were killed and 12 wounded in an explosion inside the Rakhni market in Balochistan's Barkhan on Sunday morning, Aaj News reported. The injured persons have been moved to a nearby hospital while security forces cordoned off the area for investigation.
The Los Angeles Times reported that a man had opened fire at a local dance studio around 10 pm on Saturday. The incident reportedly took place near the downtown area where the Monterey Park Lunar New Year Festival is held each year.
