Patna (Bihar) [India], March 9 (ANI): Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday slammed RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav over his repetitive remark on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's health
Speaking with ANI, the union minister said that Nitish Kumar still takes decisions for benefits of farmers and the poor and the RJD leader is afraid of him.
"Nitish Kumar still takes decisions for the benefit of Bihar's farmers and the poor. He (Tejashwi Yadav) is afraid that if Nitish Kumar stays, then every plan of his father will fail. Nitish Kumar can counter every move. It is very unfortunate that he is personally attacking Nitish Kumar ji for this." Singh said.
This comes after Tejashwi Yadav said that CM Nitish Kumar is in an "unconscious state" and "will not be able to name his departments"
Addressing the protestors at Gardanibagh in Patna, Yadav said, "I assure those who are protesting that we will raise your issues in the House. The government...the CM is 'unconscious'. He will not be able to name his departments. This is the truth. The only solution is to change the government. You will not get your rights till the time this government remains. What hopes could we have from someone who is in an unconscious state,"
Yadav extended his support to the protestors, pressing on their distinct demands. He said their issues would be raised in the ongoing budget session.
Yadav has been targeting the chief minister over various issues over the past few days. On Thursday, he said that the youth of Bihar no longer want a "75-year-old CM.
In retaliation, Nitish Kumar has also targeted RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi and said that Yadav had appointed his wife, Rabri Devi, as the CM when he was jailed in 1997 in connection with the fodder scam.
"You (RJD leaders) are from the party in which a husband made his wife the CM. They (RJD) have made you (women MLAs of RJD) the MLA, but have you done any work for the women? How much work have we done for the women? Do you people (RJD) understand that? You people are in the party which has done nothing for women," Nitish Kumar said in the Bihar Assembly. (ANI)
