Special Delhi riots court gets new judge Sameer Bajpayee
ASJ Sameer Bajpayee has been transferred to a special riots court at Karkardooma. Earlier, he was presiding a CBI court at Rouse Avenue.

New Delhi [India], December 14 (ANI): A Special Delhi Riots court under Shahdara District at Karkardooma court has got a new judge. Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Amitabh Rawat who was hearing the larger conspiracy of Delhi Riots has been transferred to the Rouse Avenue court.
ASJ Sameer Bajpayee has been transferred to a special riots court at Karkardooma. Earlier, he was presiding over a CBI court at Rouse Avenue.
Now he will hear the riots case earlier being heard by ASJ Amitabh Rawat. ASJ Rawat has been transferred to the Rouse Avenue court as a special CBI judge.
Cases against Tahir Hussain, Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, Shahrukh Khan and others were being heard by ASJ Rawat.
The Delhi High Court on Thursday transferred/ posted 87 judges in Delhi Higher Judiciary with immediate effect.
Registrar General Kawaljeet Arora issued orders to this effect.
The newly promoted judges have been allotted new postings as well ten new courts also have been constituted. Newly appointed judges will join after completion of their training, the order issued on Thursday mentioned. (ANI)
