Man stabbed to death over old dispute in Mumbai’s Kurla, 7 arrested 

According to the Chunabhatti police, on Saturday night, Sajid and his family were attacked by a group comprising of over a dozen people. Sajid’s brother also sustained grievous injuries while trying to save Sajid.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 29 (ANI): Seven people, including three women, were arrested in Mumbai’s Kurla East killing a man identified as Sajid Ali Shabbir Qureshi, over a dispute between the two families, said police on Tuesday. 
According to the Chunabhatti police, on Saturday night, Sajid and his family were attacked by a group comprising of over a dozen people. Sajid’s brother also sustained grievous injuries while trying to save Sajid.
The incident started with a minor scuffle which escalated into a physical fight.
Following the incident police have registered a FIR against 12 people under section 302,307,323,324,326,341,120-B, 143,145,147,148 and 149 and has arrested seven people.
Earlier victims and attackers were involved in fights over small issues for a long time and have registered cases against each other. (ANI)
