Uyghur activist Rushan Abbas launched her memoir "Unbroken: One Uyghur's Fight for Freedom" at the European Uyghur Summit in Munich, drawing global attention to ongoing human rights abuses in Xinjiang. The event featured solidarity from international dignitaries and highlighted growing international awareness of the Uyghur crisis.

The Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah, in collaboration with UNESCO, held a specialised symposium to highlight the importance of historical linguistic dictionaries.

Kumar said that Russian leaders understand the danger posed by terrorism linked to Pakistan and pointed out that many of the major terror attacks across the world in recent decades have connections to Pakistan. He highlighted that even Osama bin Laden was found living in a Pakistani military town, and that many other terrorists who operated in Russia had received training in Pakistani camps.

Speaking to ANI, he said, "I believe it will still take some time until the legal scrapping is completed, and we have all the details of the agreement. However, we anticipate that trade and investment will increase significantly, as both sides currently face tariffs and non-tariff barriers that hinder trade and investment. The international arena has become much more complex, which is why we believe India is a major player in this global landscape, where crises are unfolding across every continent. I remain optimistic, despite the many tensions and conflicts we are seeing, brighter days will eventually come."

On Tuesday, he said, "We are very positive about today. I have not yet seen the details... but this is something we really wanted to see... Ireland, as a small country, knows the importance of trade agreements... From being one of the poorest countries in Europe, we became the wealthiest country, thanks to our membership in a common market... It is great that, being the greatest democracy in the world, the EU and India are signing this deal."
