Pakistan's manufacturing sector, once hailed as the driving force behind economic growth and job creation, is now enduring one of its gravest crises in recent years. The sector has suffered a staggering 46 per cent decline in private investment over the last six years, sparking serious concern among economists and industrial experts who warn of long-term economic stagnation, as reported by The Express Tribune.

Pakistan's parliamentary committees on Law and Justice are set to resume deliberations on Sunday over the constitutional status of the Field Marshal under Article 243, as discussions on the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill continue, Dawn reported.

According to The Japan Times, the proposal, expected to be discussed at a meeting of relevant ministers as early as Tuesday, would suspend additional allowances currently paid to the Prime Minister and Cabinet ministers, in addition to their lawmakers' salaries.
