India is actively working to strengthen its historic ties with Afghanistan. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted recent diplomatic exchanges boosting bilateral cooperation. He also affirmed India's strong, historical relationship with Nepal, emphasising ongoing dialogue to resolve mutual issues.

India will examine Bangladesh's request for additional diesel supplies based on domestic needs, refining capacity, and availability, while maintaining existing flows.

India urged the global community to focus on state atrocities and cross-border terrorism in illegally occupied Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Reaffirming that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal made the remarks following a joint Pakistan-Norway statement referencing Kashmir.

According to the FATF's latest publication, Cyber-Enabled Fraud -- Digitalisation and Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation Financing Risks, fraud has become "one of the most widespread and damaging profit-motivated forms of crime, generating large volumes of illicit proceeds through the exploitation of victims around the world."

Addressing the 2026 High-Level Segment of the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva on Tuesday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, "The recent expiration of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) poses a significant setback for global arms control. India believes that preserving strategic stability and preventing an arms race remain vital, more than ever, for global security."
