Zohran Mamdani, 34, made history by becoming the first-ever Muslim mayor of New York City and the youngest person to win the mayoral election in a century.

In a post on X, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "Bolstering the India-Zambia partnership! In a gesture of solidarity, is supplying medical equipment to the Government of Zambia."

The Kingdom calls for self-restraint, avoiding escalation, and embracing dialogue and wisdom, which will contribute to reducing tension and maintaining the security and stability of the region," the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) read.
