European Council President Antonio Luis Santos da Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will pay a three-day State Visit to India from January 25 to 27 and will be Chief Guests at the 77th Republic Day celebrations.

On the occasion of the 78th Indian Army Day, Israel's Ambassador Reuven Azar praised the Indian Army's bravery and reaffirmed cooperation between India and Israel on Thursday.

The accident occurred at approximately 9:05 a.m. local time in Ban Thanon Khot, Sikhio district, often locally referred to as Korat, when a large launching gantry crane used in building an elevated section of the high-speed rail project suddenly fell onto the Bangkok-Ubon Ratchathani passenger train No. 21 as it passed beneath ongoing construction work, reported Bangkok Post.
