Zverev powers into Australian Open quarterfinals
Alexander Zverev extended his remarkable streak against left-handed opponents to 26 consecutive victories as he overcame Ugo Humbert 6-1, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 to secure his place in the Australian Open quarterfinals. The World No. 2, who is still chasing his first Grand Slam title, delivered a clinical performance to improve his ATP Head2Head record against Humbert to 3-1.
