India's sloppiness on the field, particularly Markram being dropped by Yashasvi Jaiswal and extra runs given by Harshit Rana and Prasidh Krishna in their spells, cost India what could have been an unassailable series lead.

With this win, the series is level at 1-1. Some sloppy fielding, catch drops and a poor spell of 8.2 overs by pacer Prasidh Krishna in which he conceded 82 runs, became the point of difference.
