In a post on social media platform X, Gandhi said people have paid a "heavy price" for air pollution and encouraged them to voice their concerns on 'Awaz Bharat Ki', an online platform launched on his official website.

Emphasising that Hindus living in Bangladesh should be considered part of India, Raja Singh said the Prime Minister has a responsibility to protect them. He claimed that Bangladesh was once part of India and asserted that India's role was instrumental in its separation from Pakistan.

Chaitanya explained, "High GST rates have reduced consumers' ability to spend, leading to a noticeable decline in demand. This fall in consumption has directly impacted retail businesses, particularly small traders who depend on steady daily sales." He noted that while the Central Government has introduced several corrective and precautionary measures related to GST, the ground reality for small retailers remains difficult.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, held a meeting in New Delhi today and approved the procurement of 3.37 lakh metric tons of tur (pigeon pea) in Maharashtra under the Price Support Scheme (PSS), at a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of approximately Rs 2696 crore.

Explaining the circumstances that led to the tragedy, the DG said the victims were workers who had been provided accommodation in the basement of the building. "They were working here and were given accommodation in the basement. So two of them were trying to rescue the others. But unfortunately, they also got trapped. This basement is only meant for parking vehicles," he said.
