As per an 'X' post shared by Indian Air Force, the incident occurred at around 12:15 pm on January 21, following which the aircraft was safely force-landed in an uninhabited area, ensuring that there was no damage to civilian life or property. Both pilots on board are safe.
Assam rifles, DRI seize Yaba tablets worth ₹39 crore in Assam’s C
Based on specific information about drug trafficking, Assam Rifles and DRI launched an operation in the district. During the operation, three individuals, residents of Tripura, were apprehended late night on November 20 while transporting 1,30,000 Yaba tablets via NH-306. Two Tata trucks and two mobile phones in their possession were also recovered. Further investigation is underway, officials added.
