Paytm Money, a wholly-owned subsidiary of One97 Communications Limited (OCL) and a wealth-tech platform, on Wednesday announced a significant revision in its Pay Later (Margin Trading Facility) rates, making leveraged trading more affordable and accessible for both retail and high-net-worth investors.

Ajai Chowdhry, Co-Founder of HCL and Chairman of the National Quantum Mission, has warned that China's dominance over rare earth elements poses a serious strategic risk to global manufacturing, including India's ambitions in electric vehicles (EVs) and advanced technologies.

In an interview with ANI, Chowdhry, who has served on various government committees since 1999 and is currently the Chairman of the National Quantum Mission, called for a ban on the import of Chinese chips, alleging that each piece of hardware has a 'backdoor' to enable secret data transmission abroad.

Chowdhry opined that all government procurement related to a particular sector, including telecom and networking hardware, should be aggregated and awarded to Indian companies. He suggested that, instead of splitting small contracts among multiple suppliers, including foreign ones, the Indian government should place large-scale orders by bundling its demand with capable Indian firms.

The meeting aimed to deepen cooperation between the two sides and explore new opportunities for mutual economic growth.
