Tokyo (Japan), Aug 04 (ANI): Tokyo Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain dedicated her medal to the country and thanked the countrymen for the love and support throughout the tournament. “I want to dedicate my medal to the country. I thank people of the country and Assam who prayed for me. I also want to thank my coaches and all who supported me,” said Borgohain. Indian boxer Borgohain won the bronze medal after she lost the women's welterweight (64-69kg) semi-final bout to Turkey's Busenaz Surmeneli in the Tokyo Olympics on August 04. Surmeneli defeated Borgohain by 5-0.
