Sports festival organised in Valley for veterinary students

Srinagar, Aug 29 (ANI): A week-long sports festival was organised for the students of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences (FVSC) in Srinagar. Vice chancellor Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Professor Nazeer Ahmed inaugurated the event. The main objective of this festival is to boost the sports culture in the state and to promote physical fitness. This will also reduce stress level among students which has now become a very common problem. The sports festival will continue for one week where sports like cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, carom, quiz competition and run for fun at various faculties of the university will be organised.
