Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Aug 31 (ANI): Athlete Dutee Chand was awarded Rs 3 crore by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday for her performance at the 18th Asian Games held in Indonesia. Dutee won silvers each in women’s 200 metre and 100 metre at the ongoing Asian Games. She was awarded Rs 1.5 crore for clinching silver at each event. Dutee was banned from competing for international competitions after being rendered ineligible to compete as a female athlete due to hyperandrogenism policy of the world athletics body (IAAF).
