Shooter Priya Singh thanks Government for financial aid of Rs 4.5 lakh

Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Jun 09 (ANI): Shooter Priya Singh, who made it to the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup, would have been unable to attend the competition due to her financial constraints. Upon appealing to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath granted Rs 4.5 lakh as financial aid. Speaking to ANI, Priya said, “I thank the government for the help. I also thank ANI for taking my problem to the Government.” About ISSF, she added, “I will now focus on practice only. Government has done so much for me; it is now my responsibility to perform well for the country.”
