Liverpool (England), May 06 (ANI): Premier League Football Club Everton manger Sam Allardyce and Southampton manager Mark Hughes wished Alex Ferguson well after the former Manchester United manager was taken ill. "Yeah, tragic, I'm going to find out how he is as soon as I possibly can. Obviously, I knew it was extremely serious when, I think, his son Darren (Ferguson) didn't even attend his own game, Doncaster today. And I've heard that officially from the Manchester United website that it's obviously a brain hemmorhage or a brain bleed so I hope he's in good hands and I hope the operation is a major success because as a personal friend, you know, I hope he has a full recovery," Said Allardyce. "Well, absolutely, I only just got a little whisper of that earlier on and I was hoping it wasn't true and I wish him all the best," Said Hughes. Manchester United manager is seriously ill in hospital and has undergone surgery on Saturday night. Manchester United club released a statement confirming that its former manager was rushed to hospital with a brain haemorrhage and that his procedure went "very well" but he is in intensive care as part of his recovery.
