Roger Federer named comeback player of the year ahead of ATP World Tour Finals

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): Roger Federer was named the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Comeback Player of the year on Thursday at a ceremony in London. The 36-year-old has won two grand slams in 2017 while he missed most of last year due to injury. Addressing the gathering, Federer said he felt he shared the award with Rafa Nadal who has also won two grand slams after a spell on the sidelines. Federer and Nadal are the top two players in the ATP World Tour Finals that will start in London on Sunday. World number one Nadal is hoping to recover from a knee injury to play in the season-ending showpiece.
