New Delhi, April 16 (ANI): Olympic silver medallist Ravi Dahiya on April 15, expressed disappointment after Wrestling was not included in the initial sports programme list for Commonwealth Games 2026 which will be played in Victoria in Australia. “We won many medals in 2010, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. We had also prepared well for the upcoming 2022 CWG. It is sad that our category has been excluded from CWG 2026. Wrestling Federation of India is making all efforts, perhaps it will be re-included,” he said. Notably, apart from wrestling, sporting disciplines like archery and shooting have also been dropped from the initial sports programme list.
