This is not a policy but an arbitrary tax: Yogeshwar Dutt on Haryana Govt’s notification

Sonipat (Haryana), Jun 08 (ANI): Padma Shri wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt slammed the Haryana Govt’s notification, which asks sportspersons to deposit one-third of their income earned from professional sports or commercial endorsements. He said that this is not a policy but an arbitrary tax. “The notification is condemnable”, he added. After the outrage from prominent sportspersons of Haryana, CM Khattar said, “I have asked for the relevant file of Sports Department to be shown to me and the notification to be put on hold till further orders”.
