New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): After bagging 1st medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu said that her victory will encourage more women to join weightlifting. “I believe my victory will encourage women to enter weightlifting. I want to tell everyone that they should encourage girls to enter sports” said Olympic silver medalist Mirabai Chanu. Chanu lifted a total of 202 kg (87kg in snatch and 115kg in clean and jerk) during her four successful attempts across the competition. China's Hou Zhihui bagged gold with a total of 210 kg.
