Rajkot (Gujarat), Mar 13 (ANI): Saurashtra won their maiden Ranji trophy on March 13. Skipper Jaydev Unadkat produced a brave spell when it mattered most. Teammate Cheteshwar Pujara said that the victory means a lot to him and winning the trophy is the moment he was waiting for in his cricketing career. He added that this win will inspire youngsters also. The victory was achieved on the basis of the first-innings lead. Bengal had the upper hand going into day five as Anustup Majumdar and Arnab Nandi shared 91-run stand in the final session on March 12. But, Unadkat dismissed Majumdar, and then finishing the team on 381 runs.
