Abu Dhabi (UAE), Oct 24 (ANI): Kolkata Knight Riders have put themselves ahead in the race for playoffs after defeating Delhi Capitals by 59 runs. Team is now at 4th spot in points table after victory over DC. KKR batsman Nitish Rana dedicated his match-winning half-century to his late father-in-law who had passed away on October 23. Rana scored 81 runs of 53 balls. KKR skipper, Eoin Morgan on team’s performance said that today proved that what thinking was on the right lines, strategy was to forget what happened in the previous match against RCB. Praising Nitish Rana, skipper said, “Nitish is very talented young batsman, he showed promise in previous IPLs. This year, admittedly he has not done what he liked to do but this can be the start of his campaign kicking things forward against one of the best bowling line-up in the tournament. He played absolutely outstandingly well.”
