Kashmiri players to soon get International Rugby ground in Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), Aug 09 (ANI): The J&K Government started an initiative to offer international exposure to the young players of the valley. The construction of an international rugby ground construction is in full swing in Srinagar. The J& K Sports Council joined hands with Rayzon Global, a Mumbai Based sports Infrastructure Solutions for the initiative. The aim of construction of the ground is to engage the youth in sports activities in Kashmir. “Across the length and breadth of UT, we have to develop the infrastructure and enhance the activities. We want to engage maximum youths to channelize their energy and their participation towards sports”, said Dr Zaffar Iqbal, Chief Accounts Officer, J&K Sports Council.
