India’s 1960 Rome Olympic footballer SS Hakim passes away

Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Aug 22 (ANI): Former Indian footballer Syed Shahid Hakim passed away at age 82 on August 22 at a hospital in Kalaburagi. Hakim ‘saab’ as he was popularly known, was part of India's 1960 Rome Olympic football team. Olympian footballer was also awarded with prestigious Dhyan Chand Award in 2017. He died due to multiple organ failure in the morning.
