Indian Army organises cricket tournament in Rajouri

Rajouri (Jammu & Kashmir), Nov 20 (ANI): A cricket tournament was organised by Indian Army’s Romeo Force. Eight teams participated in the event. Match was played in District Police Lines ground, Rajouri. Kishtwar Warriors had an all round performance in bowling, batting and did extraordinary fielding. The final match was played in a festive environment with peppy music, live military band programme and bhangra dance during the innings break. General Officer Commanding, Romeo Force, Major General PS Bajwa, was the chief guest at the event. Salim Sheikh of Kishtwar warriors was adjudged the best bowler of the tournament. Rahul Sharma of kings XI Rajouri was adjudged the best batsmen of the tournament. Deputy inspector general of police, Rajouri Poonch range, Deepak Kumar Slathia and Vice chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah university, Prof Javed Musarrat were also present in the final match ceremony .
