First India-New Zealand T20I match delayed due to rain

Wellington (New Zealand), Nov 18 (ANI): After being eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2022, Team India is all set to face New Zealand in the leadership of Kane Williamson in the first of three T20I series in Wellington on November 18. Both teams were semi-finalists in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia and will be looking to rebound fast with a victorious start in this series. India will be captained by all-rounder Hardik Pandya, with captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli taking a break following the World Cup. Even head coach Rahul Dravid will be absent from this series, with National Cricket Academy president VVS Laxman serving as acting coach. When asked about the match, cricket enthusiasts expressed that they are having full faith over Hardik Pandya and also hopes that they will see India win. Also while asked about the weather, they said that weather is unpredictable and anything might happen as heavy rain has been predicted with a chance of thunderstorm.
