Dubai (UAE), Oct25 (ANI): After 8-wicket defeat by Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore still a step away from qualifying for playoffs. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers played knocks of 50 and 39 respectively as Challengers posted a total of 145/6 in the allotted 20 overs. Opting to bat first, RCB got off to a steady start but in search of some quick runs, team gave away wickets. RCB’s director of cricket operations, Mike Hesson said, “I will not say that we felt comfortable. I think we felt that we have a total on board potentially defendable if we bowled well, which we didn’t. On the batting side, we struggled. CSK bowlers bowled nicely through the middle overs and we struggled to put our put down. With the ball, we didn’t execute any way near the way we have been doing. From execution point of view, it was disappointing.”
