Birmingham (England), July 29 (ANI): India women’s team lost their Commonwealth Games (CWG 2022) opener to Australia in a thrilling encounter that saw the Women’s T20 World champions come back from 49/5 to chase down a stiff target of 155 with 3 wickets and one over to spare. While addressing the media, Cricketer Renuka Singh Thakur expressed her confidence for the next match with Pakistan on July 29 in Birmingham, England. “I am not very happy because we lost the match. I would have been happier had we won. We have just two pacers right now. We are missing Pooja (Vastrakar) because this is a good pitch for pacers,” the cricketer said. “We will work in the areas we lagged behind. If we do that we will definitely win,” she added.
