CWG 2022: Judoka Tulika Maan wins silver in women's 78 Kg event

Coventry (UK) Aug 04 (ANI): Indian judoka Tulika Mann on Aug 03 won the silver medal in the women's 78 kg event at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022. Mann’s silver medal took India’s medal tally at Commonwealth Games to 16. She was defeated by Scotland's Sarah Adlington in the final event. Mann entered the final after defeating Sydnee Andrews of New Zealand in the semi-final. Speaking to ANI, Mann said, “I am not happy with my performance but nothing can be done now. I want to thank PM Narendra Modi for his help as he started Khelo India scheme. I dedicate this medal to my mother and coach.”
